The IC200PBI001 is Profibus-DP Network Interface Unit (NIU) that functions as a slave on a Profibus-DP network designed by GE for the VersaMax Series. The IC200PBI001 acts as a controller for a set of I/O modules. The module operates off a provided power supply that installs directly onto the NIU. The network address for the IC200PBI001 is 1 to 125 with a network data rate of 9.6Kbaud to 12Mbaud, auto-detected. There is a maximum of 375 bytes of I/O data with up to 244 bytes of inputs or 244 bytes of outputs. The IC200PBI001 can control 64 I/O modules per NIU.
